Trying to redeem rewards

This is like the 100th time I've tried to use my rewards towards a meal and get an error saying the rewards system is down. It's not much of a reward if I can't use them half the time.

  • Tried to claim missing rewards and get message they cant find the info even though i used the info from my emailed receipt

Log in not working

Hi. I received a reward from Outback Steakhouse.

I tried logging in because I have an account, but it wont allow me.

I requested a reset link several times, but Im not receiving it. I also tried recreating an account, but of course my email already exists.

Can't see 10 reward added to wallet

I got an email saying they added 10 to my wallet as

A done rewards member perk, expires

May 6, but it doesnt show

I can't log in to account

Called customer service said reset password. I DID still doesn't work ,if it does go through says problem try again in a few minutes.I just keep putting in email and new password still Doesn't work.worst site and waste of time don't bother

Changed password on diner account. Then told you needed a code they sent.

After being told I needed to accept via Email. I changed that and finally got code. It said invalid even though it was code they sent.

Told I could not use IPhone but had to go to computer to access my diner account. Still can’t get to my account …

KNo complaint at all. Just had to change my phone number for my account.

Representative was very helpful, but told me it was after hours and supervisor had gone home and unfortunately I would not be able to log into my account until tomorrow. He apologized and was very apologetic about it.

User's recommendation: Keep your phone number updated if it changes because Dine-rewards now sends you a six digit code to your phone on record.

First rep could not help unless transfer but have to pay

Horrible no help at all just kept trying to transfer me to someone else and only way to talk was to pay them first

Full rewards were used, but only partial was credited to bill - Process to redeem not clarified correctly

I used my dining rewards for the very first time at Flemings in Santa Clara, CA on December 28th, 2023.

We asked the server several times how the process worked. He indicated we could apply $35.00 towards our order and that would leave us $10.00 to redeem on a future visit.

Unfortunately, he put in for the entire $45.00 - and we lost the extra $10.00.

A quick call to your customer service phone number restored one $5.00 reward, but they said we are out of luck for the other $5.00 unless we go back to the restaurant, ask for a copy of the itemized receipt and send it in. Seriously?? - Customer service could tell via their view that too much credit was used. This seems ridiculous.

I want you to understand that in the grand scheme of things, $5 is not a lot of money to us or to your company - this is more about the principle - what should have been a perk, reward, treat has become a frustrating experience.

The server did not explain that a "partial" reward could not be used - it needed to be the full $40 - no credit back.

The serve also applied an extra $5 reward. Your company needs to simplify the dining rewards instructions and understanding or better train the restaurant personnel.

Not a very good first experience with your rewards program overall.

My account does not work

I try off an on to get this fixed. I even try to set up a new account.

Each time, I get an error.

Meanwhile, I've spent HUNDREDS of dollars at various restaurants with no Dine Rewards to show for it. Even more frustrating: I keep getting solicitations to join but every time I try, it tells me "that user already exists." I would give them negative stars if I could.

Preferred solution: All my account information removed from the Dine Rewards system so that I can try to set up a new account.

Wearing Applebees logo

At 6259 E. Southern Mesa Az Applebees became consternated for sporting an Applebees hat with their logo.

The bartender (part time then) screamed in the kitchen at managers as soon as she walked in for work for wearing this hat. Should be noted I have worn this hat many many times. No complaints, no concerned by GM or any managers. The bartender said people may think I was a manager drinking beer at the bar with this hat on my head.

This blew up. Conflict resolution: tell customer I was not a manager. Again no complaints by anyone. Should be noted that lots of eating establishment/bars allow sporting their hat logo.

I am no longer allowed at this bar. I have seen people do a lot worse and not kicked out. A lot worse. I also said the manger has no control and poor management skills.

GM at 1st did not care about hat until bartender yelled and I mean yelled again. I took hat off and never put it back on my head. Im sorry if I hurt feelings. Being kicked out for ever: punishment does not fit the crime (no crime committed).

Sorry if GM feeling got hurt. I really am.

Resolution: allow me to return to the Applebees. I will not sport Applebees hat. Even if you can purchase Applebees hats, shirts other item on line.

I feel that part of this was my fault but the bartender needed to be professional and not scream in the kitchen where everyone could listen. I was advised by a bar tender I was now expelled from entering this store. Have never heard real reason. I will not say anything negative about this GM.

But I am sorry.

Very sorry if I hurt feelings. This is a great store with many people who enjoy being employed.
